Our school culture is symbolized by smiling children, open doors, colorful art, squeaking violins and a dynamic mixture of teachers, staff, parents, and students. It is our goal to ensure all children become successful learners and provide a kindergarten through fourth grade experience that is rewarding and memorable.

About Mr. Miller
Mark Miller currently serves as the Supervisor of Elementary Education and principal of Eisenhower Elementary School for the Upper St. Clair School District. He began his role as Supervisor of Elementary Education during the 2014-15 school year and his role as principal in the 2002-2003 school year.
A native of Johnstown, Pa., Mr. Miller holds a bachelor of science degree in Accounting from Point Park University. He later earned his elementary teaching certification, master’s degree, principal certification in school leadership, and superintendent’s letter of eligibility through the Department of Administration and Policy Studies at the University of Pittsburgh.
His work as principal of one of the commonwealth’s most outstanding elementary schools, Eisenhower Elementary, has earned him national recognition. The Pennsylvania Association of Elementary and Secondary School Principals named him Pennsylvania’s 2010 National Distinguished Elementary School Principal. He also earned the Pre K-12 Educator of the Year Award in 2010 from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Education. In addition to consulting with districts throughout the state, he has presented on the sustainable learning community model at both the state and national levels. Additionally, Mr. Miller has served in an adjunct professor role at Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to becoming a principal, he was a teacher at Streams Elementary School. Before beginning his career as an educator he worked as an auditor for the NASA Office of Inspector General, Goddard Space Flight Center.
Mr. Miller sits on the board of directors for The Miracle League of the South Hills and is a volunteer and advocate for with The Education Partnership, a non-profit organization that provides school supplies to over 50,000 students yearly.
